Yonder Farms Fruit Distributors LLC is owned and operated by Jonathan Chiaro and is located in Hudson, NY in Columbia County. It was established on January 1, 2001 as an extension of Yonder Fruit Farms Inc, Valatie, NY. Jon is a third generation to the business, growing up and working with his father, Peter on the farm. Yonder Fruit Farms Inc has been in the farming, packing, and storage business since 1967. The farm has over 600 acres of apples, pears, peaches, apricots, and plums–with the main focus on apples and pears. When the fruit is harvested at the farm, it is then transported to Yonder Farms Fruit Distributors to be stored , packed, and distributed. There is capacity for 90,000 bushel of regular storage and 160,000 bushel of CA (controlled atmosphere)Storage.
